Description
"VELVET UNDERGROUND AND NICO" I believe this is a 1971 repress. Side one deadwax/matrix is V6-5008 SIDE.1 MGS-558, side two is V6-5008 Side 2 MGS-559 RE-1 REV. The LP shows scuffing and plays with moderate surface noise, pops and some ticks throughout. No skips. For much of the playing time these are unobtrusive and it's a listenable copy overall, but the ticks are a bit more pronounced on "Run Run Run," the beginning of "Femme Fatale" and the beginning of "Heroin." Sleeve is pretty beat, seams are split, banana is peeled, someone put a piece of masking tape over the middle of the right panel of the gatefold for some reason (see photos).
