VERVE V-5008 THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO Blue label mono LP. Record is better then VG+ but not quite VG++. Both sides have a minimal amount of fine hair line scratches. Over all the LP plays excellent with some occasional very light clicks on the first three tracks on side one with the last three tracks playing pretty much noise free. Side two also plays excellent and is also pretty much noise free. The cover I would also grade better then VG+ but not quite VG++. Although the cover does not have any seam splits there is slight wrinkling on the very top of the front and back which more than likely occured at the time of manufacturing. The banana is there on the front cover but more than likely was removed at one time and then put back on. The very top of the banana is separated from the rest of the banana (see picture). There is also a very small tear at the very bottom of the banana where the black meets the yellow. The cover is also slightly faded in spots which is to be expected of LP's this old. POSTAGE for 45’s is $2.50 for the first record and .25 for each additional in the U.S. LP’s will be $7.25 for the first record and $1.00 for each additional. Insurance is optional but recommended, I will not be held responsible for uninsured packages. Insurance is $1.70 for the first $50, I will quote you insurance on anything over $50. OVERSEAS $6.00 for the first 45 and $1.00 for the 2nd 45, some countries will be $6.00. LP’s will be $15.00 for first and $1.00 for each additional. Overseas buyers have the option of choosing Priority Mail International at additional cost of approximately $16.00. This allows your package to be tracked by the U.S. Postal Service. This service is for tracking only, if you want your package insured custom charges will be determined by the value declared.
All packages in the U.S. will be sent 1st class and all packages sent overseas will be sent 1ST class international
PAYMENTS: I will accept paypal, money orders, checks (must clear my bank before record is shipped). I do not accept cash concealed in a letter because of the many problems with theft both in the US and overseas.
