Description

VELVET UNDERGROUND - FEATURING NICO

Original US press, on the Verve label # V6-5008, released in 1967, stereo. This has the peeling banana front and the torso back. The matrix numbers are, respectively: V6-5008 SIDE-1 M&5-558 REV, and V6-5008 SIDE-2 M&5-559.

Record is a strong VG+, it has a shiny surface crossed by paper sleeve hairlines and very few short surface scuffs. Really the record looks great. The record plays with light surface noise in quiet spots only, picked-up by my very sensitive Ortofon 2M Black cartridge.

The cover has a water damage spot on top the right corner, which is visible on picture. I let you be the judge. The top seam of the right panel was split for the length of the water stain, but has been repaired from the inside with clear tape.  If it wasn't of this water damage spot, this copy would be a solid VG+/VG+.

Since this is a very rare LP, this will have to include registered and insured shipping.

The fine print:

Thank you for looking, please e-mail me if you have questions that are not answered in this ad. If you make a purchase please wait for the invoice before paying. Consolidated shipping is available on request and is more advantageous if you purchase three single records.

No shipping to Italy, Russia and Brazil because of theft (there, not here). Sorry but I have had too many unfortunate experiences with cheaters from those countries.

Please have a good look at the picture so there's no surprise when the record hit your mailbox. Condition of the records and covers are guaranteed. In the event that you are not satisfied with condition a complete refund minus shipping is offered; no reductions, only refunds against the goods.

I ship once a week, generally on fridays. No surface shipping is available because this is too long. Records are packed outside of cover in a clear plastic sleeve, and then wrapped in bubble cushion and are shipped in brand new record mailers.
