VELVET UNDERGROUND

Matrix : 2400111 A1/B1 Issue : UK 1st Press Plum Atlantic
This is the exceptionally rare 1st press of 'Loaded' by The Velvet Underground. This is a UK 1st press on the Plum Atlantic label Cat no. 2400111. This the first press can be identified by the earliest A1/B1 matrix, the heavy vinyl and the earliest plum and red Atlantic label.
The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl has a bright gloss, with a number of light marks on both sides. The sound is bold, rich and clear. There is a little background noise but the sound is still vibrant. The plum Atlantic label is extremely bright and clean with only the slightest spindle wear.
The original matt MacNeill press sleeve is in Very Good condition. The cover is bright with vivid colours and sharp text. There are a couple of pen marks and some discolouration. There is some edge wear and the black on the back cover is a little worn. The white text is sharp and it clearly displays the Atlantic Super logo on both the front and the back cover. The whole sleeve still feels solid.
