On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Velvet Underground called 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' and is an ORIGINAL UK 1967 MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Verve label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS ON RELEASE BACK IN 1967 AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS 1ST PRESSED IN MEGA RARE MONO (MOST WERE STEREO)!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1967 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS VERVE LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS PENDING' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Verve UK MONO 1st Pressing from 1967 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is VLP 9184 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Verve label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Velvet Underground at their best!!!! Any fan of The Velvet Underground, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in GREAT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and a few spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition overall - and still VERY shiny looking indeed!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty deep scratches of ANY kind, NO visually obvious marks, a few light hairlines, a few light scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! And although there are a few light hairlines/scufflines the record is still VERY nice looking indeed and most of these are ONLY visible under EXTREME light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with only a VERY few light clicks/pops (only a very VERY few), NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, only some EXTREMELY low level background crackle in places (NOT nasty loud 'frying bacon' type crackle and always EXTREMELY low level indeed!), and only some slight distortion in places. The record must STRICTLY grade Good++++ (PROPERLY graded, NOT wrecked) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press MONO Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (apart from a VERY slight amount about half way down - NOT a split), only slight corner wear, a few light creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO writing, NO wear, barely ANY grubbyness AT ALL (virtually NONE!), barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, and NO rubbing (apart from a MEGA faint touch in the top right corner - though this is virtually INVISIBLE)!!!! The cover must grade Very Good (Minus) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
