The first of the 2 unbelievable LPs the Velvets put out in 1967, it's the most artistically representative of the Velvets' brief, awe-inspiring career as a solid group. You get the whole picture here -- the dream pop slice of heaven "Sunday Morning", the sweet, melodic bitterness of "Femme Fatale", the massive White Light-esque freakout "European Son", and what can you even say about "Heroin"? Others include "Venus In Furs", "Run Run Run", "Black Angel's Death Song", "I'll Be Your Mirror"
