Description
"The Velvet Underground and Nico", original 1967 UK LP on black / silver Verve VLP 9184 mono. Tracks: sunday morning / i'm waiting for the man / femme fatale / venus in furs / run run run / all tomorrow's parties / heroin / there she goes again / i'll be your mirror / the black angel's death song / european son to delmore schwartz. Laminated flipback sleeve is at best G, creasing, edge rubbing, spine rubbing, both opening edges have had strips pasted to support it,but it is all there (please check photos care fully). Disc is a visual Vg, odd marks & scuff. However, these are deceptive as I've played both sides fully and it plays well with very little evidence of these. Matrix numbers are V 5008 A-2 / V 5008 B-2 which makes it an early pressing. It's not the best looking copy, but is as rare as hen's teeth and as I said, it plays well. Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide 2020 puts this as £300 for a mint copy. Payment: Paypal / PO / Cheque domestic UK, Overseas: Paypal.
