Original LP with banana sticker and torso cover

Up for auction is an extremely rare 1st pressing of the Velvet Underground's classic first album. This is the true first issue that features the photo of Emerson on the back cover that was airbrushed out on all other subsequent issues and known as the 'torso' cover. The cover on this particular copy is in beautiful, almost near mint condition, with a somewhat worn record. This auction is mostly for the rare cover. If you have a nice record that needs an original cover, this is your auction. I have seen these go for $600+ in this condition and my minimum is much lower. Thanks for looking!
CONDITION
COVER- The cover grades a solid VG++ condition with no writing, seamspilts, tears, ringwear, or any other significant issues. The only flaw to mention would be an area of light discoloration at the bottom corner that runs about 2'' (see photo). It actually looks worse in the photo than it does in real life due to the resolution. If it were not for this flaw, this cover would grade NM-. The banana sticker is still 100% intact with no tears or damage from peel attempts (very rare for this cover). This is all around one of the better copies of this rare cover you will find.
VINYL- The disc grades VG-- condition at best on both sides. There are no gouges, cracks, or warps but there are many small scratches and scuffs, some of which will be feelable with the fingernails. The vinyl is a little rough, but not a total loss.
LABELS- The labels are NM and factory new with no writing or wear of any kind.
INNERSLEEVE- Generic white innersleeve
