On Offer from our own collection is a very nice copy of the extremely rare original UK issue of the Velvet Underground's 3rd LP 'Velvet Underground' on the MGM label.
Early copies of this album were released on the MGM label and there were only about 100 of them issued! Later 2nd press copies were on the Verve label. This press is complete with the early 1G/1G matrix, On the beige and blue MGM label, This is the high gloss front laminated and flip back seam issue complete with original poly-lined inner sleeve.
This is now a super rare and difficult album to find, so don't miss out!
Vinyl :
This vinyl is in lovely condition, a very light hairline to side 1 stops this being graded at least excellent, otherwise it is visually very clean. The playback is excellent and of course the tracklist is awesome and in my opinion their best work. Tidy labels with some spindle marks.
Sleeve :
This high gloss laminated sleeve is in VG++ condition with some light creasing and corner wear. The print is exceptionally bold, and images are sharp. The whole cover feels very solid, the edges are very firm and the spine has sharp clear title text. The reverse is clean and sharp but does a small tear hole top right.
