ARTIST / TITLE THE VELVET
UNDERGROUND
"WHITE LIGHT / WHITE HEAT"
RECORD LABEL / NUMBER VERVE v6-5046
This is a classic Underground album with all the right details to show its an original. I've taken tons of pictures to show every angle of the album including the vinyl, cover and sleeve. Some of the main features are:
- Matrix Numbers: Side 1 - V 5046 side 1
MG1258; Side 2 - V 5046 Side 2 MG1259
- Back cover reads "There She Comes Now"
- Back cover Lou Reed "Lead Guitar" credit
- Back cover credits Andy Warhol for "Cover Concept"
- Verve original 6 jazz player sleeve
- Label reads "Three Prong Music / All Selections
BMI" (on two lines)
- Label Song credits: "Reed - Morrison - Cale -
Tucker" (no initials)
- Label reads "MGM RECORDS - A DIVISION OF
METRO-GOLDWYN-MAYER, INC. - Made in U.S.A."
The vinyl is in VG to VG+ condition
Surface of disc has light scuffs and some light scratches. Several scratches are faintly detectable to the touch. The vinyl plays continuously, straight through without skipping. End of side 1 has light scratch that creates a light click through the last 10-15 seconds of play. Outer edge of record has a factory defect/cut which extends partially into lead in, this does not affect play whatsoever. Again, I've taken over 40 pictures here to give a proper view of the condition of this album. As for the sound, the music is loud and clear but there are instances of an occasional click or pop. The entire album was enjoyable to listen to... again, there were no skips during playback on my turntable. Feel free to take a listen to some sections below:

The labels look great! Nice bright and clean. Just check out the pics. As for the inner sleeve, it is the original 'jazz' from Verve. Looks great, no splits.
The cover is in VG+ condition
There are no splits or separations, cover is nice and solid. There is some light edge wear as well as some very light ring wear on the front cover. Light contact wear at the corners but no structural damage to speak of. What looks like to be a mark from a staple extends through the top left cover. Initials are at the top right back corner and a Great record here to add to any extensive vinyl collection.
I grade conservatively and take a lot of time to properly list my records so please bid with confidence. If you have any questions, please contact me through the 'ask seller a question' link on this page.

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.
NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade.
- Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.
- Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a
"VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
G+ = Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unenjoyable for the casual listener.
- Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
