Description
Original U.S. stereo pressing released in 1968 on Verve (V6-5046). Black-on-black Jolly Roger visible on the front cover lower left side. STILL SEALED with no cut-outs. The shrink wrap is more like the type of cellophane used on cigarette packs. Cover in incredibly nice shape. Total knock-out punch! The only imperfection worthy of mention is a 3" handling-type crease starting near the upper left corner on the front, running parallel to the spine and branching off into three smaller diagonal creases (I tried to capture it in the glare of light...see photo.) This crease does not go through to the back cover. Aside from that, there are a couple other minor edge creases detectible on the front cover and three of the cover's corners are poking through the shrink wrap for a millimeter or two at the tips. For all practical purposes though, this thing looks immaculate! Very heavy piece here folks...
The album will be very safely packaged in an oversized mailer box to ensure that it arrives in the same condition it is now in. Measures are taken when packing sealed records to prevent seam splits during transit.
