THE VELVET UNDERGROUND: White Light / White Heat (Verve V-5046, mono white label DJ copy)

Condition : Cover has some water damage along bottom, would have been EX otherwise. On front, there were some surface tears along the bottom 1" of the cover, which have been touched up with black marker. I didn't scan this area as it just looks completely black in a scan. It loos a bit funky up close but not too bad and the "skull" artwork looks fine. The back, however, is a bit worse, with more tearing (see scan), but not too bad. The vinyl is NM, looks barely played.
Description : Very rare mono white label promo copy. Most Verve promos had yellow labels; these white labels seem to have been circulated mainly on the west coast. This copy originally came from a well-known jazz shop in Los Angeles. Too bad about the water damage, it's a beautiful copy otherwise.

Condition of this item is guraranteed to be as stated in the above description. Grading is strict and visual. All used LP's are cleaned on a VPI machine before grading.
Records are shipped in a cardboard record mailer with sufficient padding, and the disc is removed from the jacket to prevent seamsplits.
