According to the liner notes:
The source material was recorded in San Diego, CA in 1956.
these 2 tracks were mastered from the original tape recordings.
This is a limited edition acetate, and is hand numbered 27 out of 56.
My 2 cents:
This is hand-signed by a guy named Pat Maestro, who is probably the son/daughter of Joe Maestro.
The liner notes mention that Joe Maestro recorded these tracks.
For some reason, Pat decided to master and properly(?) release these 2 songs.
Odd format - this is a 10inch, plays at 45rpm and is a metal-core(!) acetate.
Acetate shows some light surface wear.
Plays strong.
The audio clips below were recorded directly from the record at auction.
They have not been altered or enhanced in any way.
What you hear, Is what you will get.
