Stay and Die ist das Debüt-Album der deutschen Trash-Metal Band Vendetta aus Schweinfurt. Nach ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1984 begannen sie an diesem Album voller Killer-Riffs und phänomenaler Refrains zu arbeiten. Die über 6 Minuten langen Titel entwickeln sich aus weichen, akustischen Passagen zu energetisch, technischem Metal-Sound. Go and Live ... Stay and Die ist ein guter Beleg dafür, welch hochwertigen Trash-Metal die deutsche Szene der späten 80er Jahre zu bieten hatte. Gitarren, Schlagzeug und Gesang dominieren dieses Album und unterstreichen somit die Qualität und Aggressivität des Vendetta-Sounds . Es handelt sich hierbei um eine wirkliche Metal-Perle, die für den einen oder anderen Heavy-Fan während der aktiven Jahre der Band verborgen blieb und jetzt neu entdeckt werden darf! Das ursprünglich über das legendäre Noise Records veröffentlichte Go and Live ... Stay and Die gibt es jetzt als limitierte Erstauflage von 500 einzeln nummerierten Exemplaren auf RED Vinyl.
Biographie der Mitwirkenden
'Go and Live... Stay and Die' is the debut album by the German trash metal band Vendetta. After their formation in 1984 they started working on this album full of killer riffs and phenomenal choruses. The tracks that runs for over 6 minutes develops from soft and acoustic passages to energetic technical metal sounds. It gives a good impression of what the Germans had to offer in the popular trash metal music of the late 80s. Guitars, drums and vocals are dominant on the album and together showing the quality and aggressiveness of their sound. It's a real shame that this band didn't get the credits during their active years, but this is the change to make everything right.
