I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THE BEST NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / HEAVY METAL / HARD ROCK COLLECTION I HAVE SEEN IN 35+ YEARS. THIS COLLECTION CAME FROM AN INDUSTRY PERSON WHO WORKED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY BETWEEM THE LATE 70'S AND LATE 80'S SPECIALISING IN ONLY NWOBHM / HARD ROCK / METAL ETC....so keep watching over the next few weeks, as a lot of the items I have for sale never been offered before, most come with letters and promo inserts etc....
This is a RARE UK TEST PRESSING OF THE NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / BLACK METAL / HEAVY METAL ALBUM by the band VENOM - "CALM BEFORE THE STORM" from 1987, ORIGINAL UK TEST PRESSING COPY AND A MUST !!! This copy also comes with a HAND MADE PROOF SLEEVE (damaged by water as you can see from the photos), SIGNED LETTER FROM THE LABEL "FILMTRAX", PROMO PHOTO + 2 PROMO INSERTS !!!!
Although the TEST PRESSING VINYL was pressed in Germany, this was a UK TEST PRESSING sent to radio people at the time. It came out on FILMTRAX RECORDS, catalogue number MOMENT 115. The matrix numbers on the vinyl are all MACHINE STAMED and are: SIDE 1: DM B-9695 A-1/9-87, SIDE 2: DM B-9695 B-1/10-87 The condition is VINYL is NEAR MINT (UNPLAYED) , HAND MADE PROOF SLEEVE is in GOOD condition only (water damage), PROMO LETTER + INSERTS + PROMO PHOTO are in GOOD+ / VG- condition (water damage)
All the records I am selling came from a major radio person who received them first time around and never played them, or maybe played them once and stored them until now !!!
DON'T LET THIS RARE NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / BLACK METAL / VENOM TEST PRESSING ALBUM get away as you will NEVER see another one especially in this near mint condition.
