Limited vinyl pressing of the music from the cult '60s BBC TV programme, presented here by the just as cult-ish Trunk Records!

Vernon Elliot was from a musical family and played bassoon from an early age. He was a founder member of the Philharmonia Orchestra,
a regular player at the Royal Opera House, a much-valued member of Benjamin Britten's English Opera Group orchestra, conductor of the
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and long-term professor of music at Trinity College of Music, London. Oliver Postgate asked him to write a
bassoon theme for the animated U.K. tv series, Ivor The Engine and, subsequently, he went on to write the music for other Smallfilms
productions of Noggin The Nog, The Seal Of Neptune, Pogles' Wood, Pingwings and, of course, The Clangers.
Sleeve: A great picture of Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate working with their knitted friends, together with the soup dragon! Although I
got this album new, the store I bought it from had discovered a box of forgotten records stuck in a store room so, unfortunately, the sleeve
does have some ring wear and a crease in the lower lefthand corner, as viewed from the front.
Inner Sleeve: Plain white paper, intact with no marks, notations, tears or repairs.
Vinyl: Clean, shiny and unmarked!

This is just one item from my own extensive and eclectic personal collection of music and related bits and pieces which I will be listing over the next few months, or so.
