Description
This auction is for one copy of Vernon Garrett's "Going to My Babys Place" LP. This is the incredibly hard to find original US pressing on Grenade records and amazingly enough, this copy is signed by Vernon Garrett himself! I cant stress how rare something like this is. This has never turned up on Ebay and will probably never show up again. I found this record in an amazing collection that contained an unbelievable amount of holy grails and original rare funk classics. The owner of the collection was quite the aficianado...
The cover shows a little bit of shelf wear but is in excellent condition, especially considering the age of this record. I will also provide you with a high quality vinyl sleeve for protecting the cover of this LP.
The vinyl itself is in G+/VG- condition. The record has several light surface scratches but nothing that seriously affects play or causes skips. The record plays all the way through on both sides with no problems and only light surface noise. Sound wise, I would rate the record a VG/VG+.
As mentioned above, this copy is signed by Vernon Garrett on the back side of the record cover. The message on the cover reads as follows:
