Long-time music loving vinyl hound here. Grading is very strict & satisfaction is guaranteed, bid/buy with confidence. All non-sealed vinyl has been cleaned, all records are graded both aurally and visually. I use NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (my highest grade)/EX/VG, w/ +/- variables. Yes, I combine shipping. No excessive shipping or 'handling' charges - buyer will pay approximately what the USPS charges me for shipping, give or take a bit. If I overcharge you excessively for shipping, you will be reimbursed the overage. All U.S. packages are shipped via media mail, unless buyer requests otherwise.

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida LP - IRON BUTTERFLY (Atco SD 33-250)
Original 1968 U.S. stereo LP. The immensely popular 2nd album by these well known California psych heads, which reportedly has sold more than 30 million copies! That's astounding! What may be more astounding is that 98-99% of them are in various stages of 'worn out' condition, as it was a 'freak' party album for years & years. Which means copies in super condition are very few & very far between. Well, guess what - here is one of them! And, to make it even more special - this is the original first pressing, featuring the plum & tan labels! Almost all copies found have the 2nd, all yellow Atco label, which they switched over to later in 1968. So, to find this LP w/ these labels is very difficult indeed; and to find it in SUPERB condition, as this one is, is all the more remarkable! Plus, the cover is still in it's original, tight shrink - AWESOME! Includes original record company inner paper sleeve (w/ small lite split in middle of bottom edge + 1 edge has come unglued on the inside flipback). The finest copy of this LP that I've had for many decades, no doubt about it. And, in one respect it's actually better than purchasing a sealed copy, 'cause one has no way of knowing if the sealed will have the original labels. (FYI - this was a recent auction item that was not paid for.)
Disc = NEAR MINT- (HIGH GLOSS - plays FANTASTIC, w/ NO distortion, NO groove wear, virtually NO pops or clicks & pretty much NO background noise to speak of, only the very faintest even background, only heard in between tracks; a TERRIFIC listen)
Cover = see pix; in SHRINK; seams & spine = A-1; BRIGHT, VIBRANT COLORS on front; BRIGHT WHITE back (NO yellowing); lite diagonal cracks in 3 front corners; tiny wear along front right edge along bottom; .43 written in black marker on back shrink (NOT on the cover); a SUPERB looking cover; any questions?, please ask
Labels = see pix; A-OK, w/ NO spindle marks to be found; small lite scuff & 2 small black marks by center hole on side 2 only
