PRICE HAS JUST BEEN REDUCED.

This is an extremely rare Pete Best Four 7" record with it's original sleeve. Pete has autographed the sleeve for me when I went to one of his Casbah gigs. Pete was the drummer in the Beatles between late 1959 and 1962 and helped them shape their unique sound. His mother Mo owned the coffee club The Casbah in Liverpool and the family still own it to this day. Every year Pete holds the Best Fest there and it is one truly amazing evening....an intimate concert in the presence of one of the original fab four. And other Merseybeat legends too.
This is a rare record anyway, but having the autograph on it makes it very rare.  After the gig Pete mingled with the crowd and signed autographs for people. I was very lucky for him to sign a few pieces of mine.

Also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity COA - detailing when the signature was acquired etc. Also comes with a colour photocopy of Best Fest gig ticket (see photos).

Ringo Starr may have been the Beatle drummer that was there when fame happened for them, but Pete was the actual drummer who helped create their distinctive sound and his famous strong backbeat. (Many other Merseybeat bands tried to copy his style).  He also had the most 'live on stage' time with the other 3 Beatles - John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison.  History has tended to block Pete out of The Beatles history, but he was actually one of the most popular members of the group at that time – if not THE most popular!  Hard to believe that now.

The vinyl is in Good condition with surface marks. Sleeve has no tears and is an original. Good condition for it's age and rarity.
