**VERY SCARCE  NEW ORLEANS R&B** AL TOUSAN (Allen Toussaint) 'The Wild Sound Of New Orleans' RCA VICTOR  LP 1767 (1958) for full track details and condition see below Side One: WHIRLAWAY UP THE CREEK TIM TAM ME AND YOU BONO JAVA Side Two: HAPPY TIMES WHAM TOUSAN NOWHERE TO GO NASHUA PO' BOY WALK PELICAN PARADE This is ALLEN TOUSSAINT'S debut album, from my own collection and has been in my care for over 40 years! As with all extremely rare albums, condition is everything, so here's a full and careful description of this superb  much sought-after vinyl LP. SLEEVE: The sleeve is complete and has virtually no loss or wear to any part of the printing. The highlights show very slight scuffing. There are VERY slight creases to the lower left corner of the sleeve. When I acquired the LP in the late 60s, the upper edge was beginning to split. Using finest quality 'Scotch' archive tape, the edge was protected, this has proved to be a highly satisfactory and permanent solution. DISC: Both labels are in A1 condition. I have listened to both sides of the LP and aurally it is graded as EXCELLENT PLUS.  A really wonderful 54 year old LP!  This is a complete and accurate description of this extremely rare LP and one that you may never see offered again. OVERALL GRADING EXCELLENT
