Description
An extremely rare Transcription disc. This is a real treat. There are two shows on this disc, one with Johnny Dankworth and his Orchestra and the other Ken Moules. The programmes were clearly made for French broadcasters, and there will have been very few of these pressed for that reason. Apart from the great music, there is pleasure to be had in listening to the French announcer pronouncing names like Ronnie Scott, George Chisholm and Johnny Dankworth. The shows are both in good condition, a bit crackly, but otherwise fine, and they are excellent recordings under the typical noise you expect from discs of this vintage. A fine addition to anyone's collection.
