Description
VIC CHESNUTT "LITTLE" LP 1990 N.MINT
RARE ORIGINAL WITH LYRIC SHEET & ART
Extremely rare first album by the one and only Vic Chesnutt. This is one of the first few pressed which includes lyric sheet scrawled in Vic's own handwriting and beautiful artwork by Vic on the back cover (suitable for framing). This is the rare original with the words, "ST. EEL" and "ROB VEEL" etched in the trail off vinyl. Cover and lyric sheet remain in excellent condition and record is pristine near mint. Now considered the most rare and highly sought after of all Vic Chesnutt releases and a truly rare item that will continue to grow in value. Only serious buyers please.
Additional Sellers Note: I was fortunate enough to see one of Vic Chesnutt's first concerts on his first tour. He played in a small room called The 7th Street Entry. His songs were both poetically sad and hilariously funny and he had the audience in tears one moment and laughing histerically the next. After the show he wheeled out from backstage and I was able to meet him and purchase this record. It has been safely stored for the past 18 years and remains in excellent condition.
"I flew around a little room once." A line from Supernatural.
He was just that. He possessed an unearthly energy and
yet was humanistic with the common man in mind. He was
entirely present and entirely somewhere else. A mystical
somewhere else. A child and an old guy as he called himself.
Before he made an album he said he was a bum. Now he
is in flight bumming round beyond the little room. With his
angel voice.
