Description

Very rare Jamaican manufactured dub album on Hatchet label, by Federal Record Mfg. Co. Ltd.
Players of instruments unknown.

Matrix numbers are FRM 177-A / B.
Ten tracks - see photos of labels.  "Lean On Me" is a version of the Bill Withers tune and  "S - 90 S(c)kank" was voiced by Big Youth.
The white parts of the labels have been coloured in, more noticeably on side one.
Record plays through completely both sides without jumps etc. on my Luxman turntable.
The playing surfaces visually appear almost mottled and are continuously noisy and there are a few audible scratches during play.
I have seen another copy with similar surfaces - are they all like this (?).
Despite all that the album makes for great listening.
The sleeve, although intact, has suffered water damage to the bottom and a tape mark down the spine.
Clear tape repairs to the sleeve have been made.
Will be supplied with a poly lined inner sleeve.
