Description

For sale is a very rare and collectible album by Led Zeppelin. It is their untitled 2nd studio release and is one of the few to have been produced by Robert Ludwig. Known as the "Hot Mix", it provided a more full sound than later releases. After initial release, people complained of needles skipping. Thinking the LP was defective, it was pulled. It was later discovered that this record cannot be played on inferior record players. The fact that this certain mix was pulled so early after release makes this album very collectible and valuable. Unfortunately, the gatefold is in bad shape. It has writing in 2 places and one of the edges is ripped all the way across. The disk, however, is in very nice shape. It contains a couple surface scuffs, but nothing that will make the record skip. The labels are clean and without tears, scuffs or stains. Included is the original inner sleeve, which is good condition.
