VERY RARE and HIGHLY SOUGHT by Collectors! Original Vintage LP with NUDE cover! "THE DIVINE POEM" Symphony No.3, Alexander Ivanoich Scriabin Original, VERY RARE LP, circa 1950s, Classic Editions, New York City Classic Editions was an early pioneer of Analog and Audiophile pressings that ultimately led to the modern day Audiophile giants like Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL), Music On Vinyl, Analogue Productions, and others. They were issued in extremely LIMITED quantities.
Utterly breathtaking symphony scored by Alexander Ivanoich Scriabin as performed by the State Radio Orchestra of the U.S.S.R. and conducted by Nikolai Golovanov.
"The Divine Poem" represents the evolution of the human spirit, which is beautifully realized in this production. A slow, tender melody appears in the woodwinds and horns and later in the strings, the trumpets repeating their call in the first movement. This melody, growing more and more passionate, is broken by a strong passage in the horns which finally give out in unison a joyous measure, the basses sounding the trumpet call inverted, leading to the Finale.
