Well, this one's got me stumped. I'd put it at very early 70's Rocksteady, but I can't find out anything at all about Herbert Maurice, or this single. I'm not sure when Shel Silverstein wrote the song - it was certainly covered by various people in the early 70s...just can't find out a single thing about this version!

Nice clean Fair - plays through fine with no skips, though of course it's an acetate, and the sound quality isn't great - pretty loud background throughout, though you can still hear the song ok.
