Original And Very Hard To Find 1970 Uk Pressed 'Self Titled' Orange RCA Labeled Lp Housed In A Gatefold Sleeve (See Photo Below) Featuring UK Actor ‘Peter Wyngarde’ Performing Some Of The Most Bizarrely Camp Psychedelic Tracks Of The Era On This His First (And Last) Album.

The Cover Of The Lp has been Signed By ‘Peter Wyngarde’ and says

PETER WYNGARDES PERSONAL BLEND OF SOPISTICATION AND THE ABILITY TO LAUGH AT HIMSELF IS EPITOMISED IN THIS ALBUM.THE OUTRAGEOUS IS NEVER FAR BEHIND AND IRREPRESSABLE WHEN SEX LEERS ITS INQUISITIVE HEAD AS IN RAPE AND THE HIPPY AND THE SKINHEAD.CYNICISM HAS A SNEAKING GLANCE TOO AND THE CRUELTY OF SUCH LYRICS AS FLIGHT NUMBER TEN AND TRY TO REMEMBER TO FORGET?ARE GIVEN SUCH A ROMANTIC SOUND THAT ON FIRST HEARING THEY APPEAR DISARMINGLY INNOCUOUS WHICH THEY CERTAINLY ARE NOT.THIS WAS INTENTIONAL WITH THE INVALUABLE HELP OF HUBERT VALVERDE WHOSE MUSIC HAS THE INTANGIABLE LYRICISM THAT MAKES A LOVE SONG THAT IS FELT AND SEEN WHEN IT IS HEARD.IN VIC SMITH THEY HAVE FOUNDA PARTNER WHO HAS BROUGHT HIS OWN COOL MASTERY OF CONNECTION, BLENDING THE TWO TALENTS INTO A UNIQUE COMBINATION WITHOUT DISTRACTING WHEN HE SUBTLY

CONDITION:

RECORD: Record looks to be in excellent condition but when I listend to it, there is very faint background noise only heard on the spoken word parts. in my opinion it really doesn't ruin the enjoyment when listening to this record.

SLEEVE: Sleeve is in excellent condition - it has some wear but nothing major. There is no ringwear on the sleeve either

LABEL: Label is in near mint condition. Side 1 hs no spindle marks, Side 2 has a couple of very light spindle marks only visible under bright light and when looking really close

The sleeve suffers from folding, scuffing of the edges, spine splits and discolouration.

The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise.
