Up for auction here is a MEGA-RARITY LP album, "The Newest Teen-Age Singing Group The Munsters...Inspired by the TV Characters The Munsters..." and THIS is the PROMOTIONAL copy of the album. What this album consists of is a compilation of rock songs by a musical group called "The Munsters." Very strange concept in my opinion. The music is pretty 60s standard really. Beyond musical content, the album is in NO MANNER pristine, mint nor in any way perfect! The front of the album cover has a series of ink pen produced swirls on it (I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THAT BUGS ME!!!) and the spine has some bumps marks and wear. The top and bottom "spine-work" is in decent condition and still serving its purpose. The back cover has very little substantial wear...aside from a spot in the center that reveals some record bumping (when users failed to align the record with the cover upon returning it to said cover). Now...the album itself...While it plays through just fine on my cheap old turntable, there are NUMEROUS scratches and imperfections (especially on side 1 where you will find some sort of filmy residue that I could not manage to clean off). Side two has the same scratches and wear but no filminess. The side 1 label has some abrasion marks on the left side of it. The side 2 label is pretty decent. The vinyl itself is still pretty good in terms of glossiness. The label holes are pretty strong in spite of there being some noticeable "hole-missing" marks around the center holes on both sides of the album. The paper sleeve is decent but I do NOT know if it is original or not. The tracks:
