This really was the birth of progressive rock! It was the Beatles' 9th Lp and what an imapact it had. and still does have. Released on the 1st of June 1967, the album reached number 1 across the board, staying at number 1 for 23 weeks!! With a total of 148 weeks in the charts!!

 There are some light marks and light scuffs to the vinyl, but plays through without jumps or skips.

After giving her a gentle vacuum clean, I have just finished listening to the whole album and found a wonderful clear sound reproduction.
!!!TURN THIS BABY UP LOUD!!! (I did)
Only light background noise in the quieter sections...but nothing offensive at all.
The audio reproduction is wonderfully rich.

Only light spindle marks, really only evident when angled towards the light, with very little central hole wear to either side.
*THE RARE FACT ABOUT THIS LABEL: It omits the final track on side 2: "A Day In The Life." This was quickly spotted and rectified-not many of these made it out of the factory back in 1967.

Inner Sleeve:
EX. It is a correct period white die-cut inner with two windows and the MADE IN ENGLAND statement to one corner.

Superb condition and the ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING insert as it has the deeper green colour.

The Cover:

The cover is still in great, SOLID condition, as is the back cover and the vibrant inner picture.
Still opens with a crackle as if opened for the 1st time back in 1967...Showing a simply glorious full colour picture of The Beatles in all their splendour.
Legible spine-which carries some light rubbing and a little squashed, with some light fading near the edge to the back..Nothing bad at all.
There are only around 5 very small crescentsof spidering to the front and back of the cover, with some small fingers emanating from the spine & edges-please see the detailed images attached.
 I am being incredibly critical as well as honest as possible.
