The MMT Ep was released on the 8th of december 1967 but in the USA it was released 11 days earlier on LP!
It entered the UK charts on the 13th and stayed there for 12 weeks, rising to the No. 2 slot, being stopped by anoither Beatles track: "Hello Goodbye" to reach the top slot.
Marketed as:
"A 32 page full colour book packed with exclusive pictures, a strip cartoon of the original story, plus the words to the songs in the show !"

The vinyl:

VG++
 Only light marks and some dirt in the grooves to each of the discs, creating the occasional gentle pop.
Some light background noise, which would be severly reduced with a good clean.
FLAT & SHINY
Deep bass kicks in on "Flying" :)
"KT" tax code stamped into each run-off groove.
SOUNDS MAGICAL!!!

The Labels: EX (Side 1 G++)
Lovely and clean...Just a handful of very faint spindle traces, visible when angled towards the light, with barely any wear to the central hole.
As you can see in the images, the side 1 label has some lifting, due to a sticker being rmoved-I suspect.
They are the very first printing, with the
'NORTHERN
SONGS
NCB'
 text printed on 3 lines, unlike the later 2 lined printing. This is on EACH label.

The Cover: EX-!
Bright, excellently strong and UNCRUSHED spine. Only a small amount of rubbing to the corners.
Next to NO spidering to the front laminate-just some light indentations. With just a small and light finger of spidering of around 2cm to the back and front spine-that's it!
Nothing to worry about at all.
Gorgeously strong Garrod and Lofthouse flipback inner....Really REALLY nice example.
NO  rips/tears or writing!
Has the 'drawn' Apple logo to the inner back sleeve.

The Booklet: EX
Superbly intact, with the all important BLUE lyric sheet, still attached by the original 3 staples.
NOT EVEN ANY RUST TO THE STAPLES-NOW HOW OFTEN DO YOU FIND THAT?!?
 No writing of any sort and still bright with colour and white pages standing out...Only the lightest of discolouration to the edges-that really is it!
Simply lovely!

The Inners: EX!!! ORIGINAL WAVY INNERS...With just some creasing to them and light discolouration due to age-Quite rare and difficult to find these originals in ANY state, let alone this wonderful state!
