This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

150g QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL
VG+! Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are light marks to both sides BUT after playing hyer all the way through I found the sound reproduction to be superb! Only very light and occasional background noise.
DEEP RICH BASS
A gentle professional clean and you've got a great copy.
 Very nice indeed.

Labels: VG. Lovely and clear. Just light spindle marks only visible when angled towards bright light, with a fair amount of central hole wear, as you can see in the images provided...

 Cover: VG++!! Solid, but small mono in top right corner.
Shiny front cover...With just some small fingers of spidering to the front laminted cover and four tiny crescents near the opening...LOVELY!
Still has a glorious white card backing...With a little discolouration from age...but I do too :)
NO WRITING.
 STRONG CORNERS with just gentle rubbing.
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
EXCELLENT, STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.
NO rips or tears!!
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.

SUPERB EXAMPLE

Inner: EX-. Poly-lined inner with "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" text to the bottom right corner.
Some creasing but NO SPLITS or WRITING.
Certainly done her job by looking after this lovely album.
