PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
HIDEOUSLY RARE Rudy Van Gelder mastered BLP 4146 MONO Blue Note pressing from 1966 with NEW YORK USA rime text, NO deep groove and NO Plastylite ear stamp!!! Release year is unknown but one thing is for certain; this is the ONLY pressing mastered in mono (the only way to hear this LP) by Van Gelder after the initial first pressing. The only other mono pressing that exists at all, in fact, is a Japanese pressing from 2013. Absolutely rare as hens teeth. LP is VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs. Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and gorgeous with four sharp corners. Incredibly hard to find and near impossible to find in this condition. An absolute high grade collector copy of this monster Blue Note rarity. You will not be disappointed.
