Description

For auction is an original copy of Duke Pearson’s excellent 1965 LP Wahoo, Blue Note BST 84191. This is the very rare 1st stereo pressing, and apparently was a review copy from the stamp on the back sleeve. Each side has Plastylite "Ear" etched in the deadwax and VAN GELDER and STEREO stamped in the deadwax. Vinyl was cleaned using Klaudio ultrasonic machine.

Vinyl: VG+. Vinyl would be VG++/EX except for one skip at the beginning of last track on Side 2. Otherwise vinyl is in superb shape with nice gloss and clean and clear RVG sound. Vinyl was cleaned using Klaudio ultrasonic machine. See photos for details.

Sleeve: VG+. Sleeve is in excellent shape except for some foxing on the back and a small tear on the bottom edge near the spine. Otherwise sleeve is in great condition with all edges intact. Small stamp that says “Review Copy.” See photos for details.

LP will come in protective Mobile Fidelity archive-quality sleeve. Cover will come in thick vinyl protective sleeve. Packed expertly by professional shipping company and mailed via USPS, with tracking number provided, within a day of receipt of payment.
