A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

Catalogue number: PCS 3062

(As a note, here are a couple of the differences to the usual MONO mix:
1. No Reply has a different mix.
2. Words Of Love is 9 seconds shorter than the Mono version.)

This is the really rather rare part as not many of these corrected matricies made it into the hands of the general public...

**I have now invested in a Pro-Ject VC-S Mk II Vacuum Record cleaner and this record was cleaned on it.**
QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 148g
VG. Lovely heavy vinyl. Only carries light marks, retaining all her glory!
There is very little background noise-only has the occasional pop due to light marks to the vinyl.
Lovely and quiet inbetween tracks...Pure,rich audio quality.
Certainly NO SKIPS OR JUMPS!
IT REALLY DOES PROVIDE SUPERB STEREO QUALITY SOUND REPRODUCTION.
FLAT as the day she was born and SHINY too.

There are only light spindle marks...visible when angled towards the light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Barely any hole wear.

STEREO outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are just a couple of small spidering areas to the two sided laminate.
The spine remains strong with the title perfectly legible, and remains UNCRUSHED too!! It has the original pinched to and bottom.
The corners remain strong as well, with very little wear.
Wonderful strong and clean flipbacks.
NO SPLITS OR TEARS
