Description

About This Record.  This is my first auction ending in 2015.  Good Luck!  This is another one of my REALLY RARE vinyl items that I hate to sell  but that I must sell to pay for my Christmas Presents, because sometimes we must do things we prefer that we do not have to do.  This is a seminal (in all respects) Psych/garage 45rpm by the MC-5 aka the Mc5 on AMG Records 1001.  The very first original USA pressing with -1A and -1A matrix numbers.  Please see details below and  PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.

I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.  Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Sleeve Condition:  The plain brown paper inner sleeve is in nice condition. Please See all the Photos I took.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: STRONG VG.  The vinyl looks Good Plus (G+) because of LOTS of very noticeable paper marks and light scuffs, and on Side A there are a couple of what looks like more (two or three) medium scuffs (this is the "I Can Only Give you Anything"side), including a minor factory bubble defect, but they Play without problems other than two (2) pops from the bubble defect (looks problematic but it is not) and a few other clicks/pops near the beginning and just light background noise (see photos).  The vinyl plays STRONG VG with just light background noise at the very beginning of each side, and a few places in-between.  Just a few pops or clicks (none concentric except for two pops because of the factory defect bubble) but there are OBVIOUS visual issues with all the paper marks and light scuffs.  Plays close to EX for about about ¾ of each side, with just a couple of minor pops.  The matrix numbers are machine stamped and end in -1A on both side one and -1A on Side two as can be seen from the photos, which indicates this was the very first pressing.  Although this should be no surprise because there only was one original pressing, limited to just a few hundred copies of which only a half dozen or so have traded hands in public forums over the past decade or so to my knowledge..  No sticks, jumps, pops, warps etc., of course. As always, I offer full refund including shipping both ways if for some weird reason you do not like this 45rpm.

I did not by this at a garage sale; I paid a she-it load of $$$ for it, but my reserve price is more than $100 below what I paid for it to ensure fun bidding. Hopefully my other records will sell and I can keep this one!

Labels.  Labels are EX/VG.  One side has four black marker XXXX's on it and ring wear; the other side has no writing, just noticeable age wear.  Please see photos of all labels).  The matrix number in the trail off area on both sides has -1A machine stamped in the matrix, of course.

Inserts: Comes with original plain brown paper inner sleeve with no writing or anything at all on it, but no worries, this also comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach!  Oh My Gosh!

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . .  I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax!
