This is an increasingly rare record-Elvis' 1st UK Lp release-on the all important HMV label.

The Vinyl:

I have just played the vinyl all the way through and even though she has light marks to her, I didn't find a skip on my Focus One deck, fitted with a light Audio Technica cartridge and set on a very light weight too.
Quality 151g slab of vinyl-they knew how to make em then!
I found a superb, lively audio playback with just the very odd and occasional light pop and some light occasional background noise-nothing bad at all...Really played through with vigour.
HAND CLAPPING FINE!
Flat as the day she was born too.

The labels:
EX!
Very displayable labels as they have retained their deep red/burgundy colour and have just very light and insignificant traces of spindle marks (only evident when angled towards the light and looking for them).
RT tax code to side 1.
NO number for the last track on side 2 (Shale Rattle and Roll)
MADE IN GT. BRITAIN at 6 o'clock position.
VERY 1st pressing here.

The Sleeve: G+
The cover, as you can see in the photo's is ripped at the opening...But I think if you were to mount the record and cover as I have pictured it-you wouldn't be able to tell in display.
But, as you can see the opening section to the front has gone missing and there is a split of 7cm to the bottom.
The back has just a small patch missing but does not affect the typed bio.
Remains strong and all original.

The Inner:
VG
It is the ORIGINAL inner and in great shape too.
Two sided window with the text in a box around it, stating:
TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR RECORDS...
It is so early, it has the "BRIT PAT APPLIED FOR" text to the bottom right corner.
There is a little dirt to the opening of the front and a small tear to the opening to the back..Would look great displayed.

At the very least it is an excellent filler for any collector....WITHOUT skips or jumps and as flat today as she was when born in 1956.
ALL COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL COVER AND INNER TOO.
