VG original pressing of Surffink by Mr. Gasser and the Weirdos (T 2114) surf

For sale is a nice copy of the very rare, weird surf album called Surffink! by Mr. Gasser and the Weirdos. Despite its appearance, the album plays well and sounds clear and vibrant, and the cover is in really solid shape. The free bonus record that was contained within the front cover is missing, however. 

I am a collector, not a store, and I grade conservatively so there are no surprises. I visually grade using the Goldmine scale of NM, VG+, VG, VG-, G scale. If I have played the record recently, then I will note how it sounds. 

Visually, the album does not look that great. While it has lots of gloss, each side, side one in particulate, has many marks on it. They don't look like scratches to me. Instead, the marks appear to be from being in a sleeve. Because of how it looks, and to verify the album's condition, I cleaned it using my VPI record cleaning machine, so it should be free from dirt, and I played it on my Dual 1229 turntable with a Shure m97xe cartridge. The album sounds really, really good, actually. It doesn't anything like what it looks. The music is loud and clear, with good depth. Occasionally there is a single "pop" but it is not upon each revolution like with a scratch. The marks do not make any noise that I could hear. There are some very, very light crackles between some songs. But overall, the album sounds really good, like one that is VG+ at least. To compromise between how it looks and how it sounds, and out of an abundance of caution, I grade the album as VG. 

I grade the cover as VG+ The cover is strong and sturdy, the seams looks good, the spine is clear, and it has very little ringwear. The downside is that the edge along the opening of the front cover has been opened and the free bonus record was taken out and it missing. It doesn't really affect the sturdiness of the front cover, and overall the cover is really great.
