This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

Lovely heavy vinyl.
There are ony very light marks to the vinyl, with the audio remaining superbly clear.
**PLAY LOUD-WOW-FULL OF ENERGY**
I have just listened to the whole album and thoroughly enjoyed the audio playback.
I found VERY LITTLE background noise throughout....Really was superbly clear-even inbetween tracks the background noise was barely noticeable!

Solid, small mono in top right corner. Shiny front cover...With some small fingers of spidering to the edges of the front laminted cover and two or three small crescents of spidering near the opening. One tiny 1cm split near the opening-nothing at all to worry about.
NO WRITING.
The corners have some rubbing and knocking.
Some rubbing to the edges-but not enough to split it.
The Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks are in wonderfully strong condition.
STRONG, LEGIBLE spine.
Has "Patents Pending" to back bottom right corner flipback.

It is the original 'USE EMITEX' inner with a tracing-paper-like lining. As you can see in the images provided; one of the corners has been nibbled away, with some splodges of something to one side...However, the rest of it remains perfectly intact.
Remains very nice indeed.
