About This Record.  This is a very rare ORIGINAL 1st Pressing copy of Captain Beefheart's LP from 1967 entitled "Safe as Milk" on the Red Buddah label.  Sorry, no bumper sticker is included!  Just as a rare as a Zappa Freak Map!  This is a keeper copy for most sane folks.  Please see details below about the Vinyl, Cover, Labels and  PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and foreign buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.  Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Cover Condition: Strong Very Good (VG) Cover; Some very small tears on top and bottom seam on opening edge, corner crunch top right and lower left, some seam wear/two inch split on top left front seam,  But this copy does not have bad ring wear like most, because I have stored it carefully for 30 years or so.  Nice enough copy.   Please See all the Photos I took.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition:Excellent Minus (EX-). Light paper marks and a few long very very very light meaningless stylus marks. Looks strong VG+ but plays mainly EX better, so EX-    No worries, this Plays great; Just Played this on my La Luce turntable and it sounds great, but no worries comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine.

Labels. Near Mint (NM) Labels.  Please see photos of all labels)

Inserts: Comes with original special Captain Beefheart two-sided inner sleeve with wild art and messages and stuff, which has a 6 inch spine split, and each seam is split about two inches or so,but still pretty nice with not too many folds, and the Insert is RARE@, but no worries, this also comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach!  Oh My Gosh!

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
