Description

About This Record.  This is an original USA copy of The Bonne Villes LP released on Justice Records in 1966 or 1967 or thereabouts (reports differ).  The cover has issues, but the vinyl does not; you will have to follow a rainbow to find a nicer copy of the vinyl.  Acid Archives says in the first sentence of its description of this LP "Perhaps the Archetypal Justice LP" and then "the contents are the usual things for area bands, the hippest being a half-assed version of "For Your Love" and "an incorrectly interpreted 96 Tears"  Blue-eyed Frat Soul Rock Justice Records that I actually like, but I prefer the Stowaways, Tempos, Barracudas, Speckulations, and Marsadees.  If someone thinks that there is a better band than the five I just mentioned and the Bonne Villes, and the Bonne Villes are not the 6th best band on the Justice Label (no band ever released a second LP), please let me know!

PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.

Cover Condition: Very Good Minus (VG-) cover. There is a tear in the cover at One o'clock below the word "Home" and the bottom seam has a seven (7) inch split, and top seam has wear and apparent black marker applied to the left and right edges of the top seam at spine and opening edge, And for good measure, there is some shelf wear on top seam and some creases along with the blacked in 1/4 inch at each top corner.  There is a mark on the bottom of the front cover (less so on the back cover) that looks like tape is or was there.  But there is no tape there and I cannot detect there any being there.  Seems like rare bad glue wear, as on the back cover there is only light wear from cover slick glue?  (I looked closely when I paid $$$ about 20 years ago.) Corner rubs all the way around.  The cover and back slick still present well so I grade VG- instead of G or something.  But you can look at my photos and decide yourself.  Please See all the Photos I took.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: Excellent Minus (EX-) better vinyl.  Most of these LPs were trashed from parties.  This one was not.  Light paper marks, and a few light scuffs that do not sound.  Looks STRONG EX- to EX and Plays SOLID EX or better.  I grade conservatively, as my feedback will show if you want to read my feedback as a seller and what others thought of records I sold like this in the same or similar vinyl grade.

Labels. Near Mint (NM) labels.  Please see photos of all labels.

Inserts: Comes with what I think was likely the original white (now brown) paper inner sleeve, but not worries, this LP also come cleaned on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and in a new rice paper sleeve equivalent.

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . .  I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax!
