About This Record. This another NECESSARY record for your collection! The FIRST rock LP ever released in 2LP format, complete with the "Limited Edition 2LPs for the Price of 1LP" Sticker on front cover. . . of course, (Frank Zappa) The Mothers of Invention's 2LP set from 1966 issued in glorious gatefold format, first pressing with the Freak Map blurb (explaining how you can mail in $ for a Freak Map (not included)). A nicer copy you will likely not ever see! Cover and Vinyl! Awesome psych freak out that is for sure his best and most important work.

I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase. Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren. And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).
Cover Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) Has super rare "Limited Edition 2 LPs for the price of one" sticker on the middle bottom of front cover. This was the first 2LP rock LP and the unsuspecting public didn't realize what a deal they might be getting! There is a VERY small tear on top seam at right, some light to medium seam wear and a few other small short splits, some light ring wear. Nice enough cover, just not quite EX. This LP is complete with NICE gatefold including the Freak Map offer that was included on the inside of the gatefold cover on original first pressing copies of this LP, but later deleted. Please See all the Photos I took. I didn't take them for fun and frolic.
Vinyl Condition: Excellent Plus (EX+) on both LPs. Plays awesome just played both LPs on my La Luce Alba turntable.
Labels.Near Mint (NM) labels, both LPs. Please see photos of all labels
Inserts: Comes with both original Verve Records Factory plain paper inner sleeves featuring other artists and such (in NICE shape with light creases from the factory), but no worries, this also comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and in a new sleeve so the old Dust does not reattach! Oh My Gosh!
Packaging. I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original. I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection. I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
