Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

RARE Elektra butterfly label pressing from 197? with flat cover, CTH (Columbia Records Pressing Plant - Terre Haute, IN) dead wax etching, artisan "drumsticks" dead wax etching, Columbus Circle address on the rear cover but NOT on the label (label has the La Cienega Blvd address), Warner Brothers logo in the lower label rim text and "Modern Music" credited to Crawling King Snake (NOT John Lee Hooker) on the side 2 label!!!  Can't find this anywhere in the massive Discogs database.  That's how you know it's rare.  LP side 1 is a gorgeous VG++/NM- and side 2 is a beautiful VG++.   Cover is a VERY nice VG with a few light creases.  .

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING:
MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
