About This Record.  Crazy Man Crazy!  Yeah!!! Here’s another exceptionally RARE LP from my collection by Bill  Haley and the Comets entitled Rock with Bill Haley & The Comets.  This is an exceptionally RARE 1st label USA pressing from 1955, one of the VERY FIRST Rock n Roll LPs ever released in 12" format, this came out even before The Johnny Burnette Rock n' Roll Trios LP did.  I grade conservatively and this is as close to a keeper copy as you can get, but I do not know anybody that has a keeper copy of this 58 year old LP, and note that the original has vinyl pressing defects that produce background noise and random pops and such.  Please see my other super rare Bill Haley LPs for sale! Cover Condition:  Super dooper STRONG VG The cover has some splits, and light stains on the opening edge, but exceptionally strong graphics, and I have never seen another nicer cover.

Vinyl Condition: VG+. Many EX playing moments, but the vinyl has lots of very noticeable paper marks and light scuffs but plays unbelieveably well. No major problems (except for Track A1) but noticeable background noise between tracks, some pops more often here and there than I like, and most importantly Track A1 has about 20 seconds of concentric ticks from a light scratch but otherwise this plays awesome, and the audio fidelity is amazingly good, but not surprising given the vinyl weighs 202 grams, even though this was 1955 and this is an original MONO copy (no stereo 12" LPs until 1958 or thereabouts)!  You'll never find another nicer one I think!  Or maybe I just like . . .Crazy Man Crazy (my favorite song on this LP).

Inserts: Comes with original plain paper innersleeve (I think) But no fears, the vinyl comes separated from the special innersleeve, and also comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new protective plain paper rice-paper like innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach!)  OH my gosh!!. 

Labels:   EX/better labels (Light spindle wear around the hole from someone not being careful about accurately placing the LP on their turntable without the spindle scraping the label a little bit) (see photos of all labels).

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new rice paper equivalent innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with this LP when I purchased it if the innersleeve that now remains with the LP is the original one (or at least if I think it is).  YES, I separate the vinyl in its new rice paper equivalent sleeve after cleaning it from the LP cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic outer sleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool transition from my record collection to your record collection.  I use sturdy cardboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.
