Professionally CLEANED firstly with an Ultrasonic cleaner and then Pro-Ject VCS MkII Vacuum Record Cleaner

This Lp was released on the 3rd of December 1965 and stayed at the number 1 position for a total of 9 weeks from Christmas that year....What a pressie to unwrap!

HEAVYWEIGHT QUALITY 153g

It is the much RARER LOUD CUT version which was pulled shortly after it's release in 1965, which are now becoming increasingly difficult to find in any condition.

There are only some very light marks to the vinyl., which DID NOT make her jump or skip on my Focus One record deck (on a light setting too).

What I found was quality audio, with raw, clear sound. I noticed a few light and soft pops: at the end of ‘You Won’t See Me’ with just a couple right before ‘Think For Yourself’ and a few on ‘Wait’….None of which were offensive at all.

Lovely shine and weight.

SHE SOUNDS LOUD!

Even the run ins were incredibly quiet.

GLORIOUSLY RAW

The Bass line really comes across on Norwegian Wood-I've never noticed it quite so pronounced before...Interesting :)

Also noticed the utter clarity of Lennons voice on Girl...Really nice.

With ZERO central hole wear.

‘KT’ tax code, lovely and bold to side 1.

It has the New Gothic text, rather than the New Times Roman text.

Shiny front cover...

VERY strong clear and clean spine. ..But has a small patch of rubbing right where the title is. This rubbing superficial however as it does not penetrate to the inside, leaving the spine still wonderfully strong.

Strong corners, with a small degree of light rubbing.

Garrod and Lofthouse flipbacks in SOLID condition.

I can see just a small handful of small crescents of spidering to the front laminate near the opening. With a few small fingers of spidering emanating from the seams....Nothing terrible at all.

I noticed a tiny nick of under 1cm to the opening.

NO WRITING

The back card remains WHITE-now that is unusual!

It is the all ORIGINAL "USE EMITEX" with the tracing paper-lining.

In absolutely SUPERB condition too..Just some discoloration to the paper-due to age.
