About This Record.  This is an original USA PROMO copy of The Chocolate Watch Band's third LP entitled "One Step Beyond" released on Tower Records in 1970 or thereabouts.  This is an original white label promo wlp copy, not a bootleg.  Plays EX but looks strong VG because of lots of paper marks and a number of noticeable but light scuffs, so I grade the vinyl VG+.  VERY HARD to find.  Plays great.

Cover Condition: STRONG Very Good (VG) much much better cover.  There are no splits on the seams or spines.  But there is a purple (of course) DJ promo stamp on the back cover, and radio station letters "KNOW" in red on the back cover, and a small tear on the cover slick at six o'clock at the middle bottom of the back cover, lighter corner dings, and some spine wear on the front cover slick (just a few short creases from the Watch Band Factory :) Please see my photos!  I did not take them for fun and frolic.

Vinyl Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+) vinyl. Plays mainly EX, but there are some VERY noticeable paper marks and a number of light scuffs, so looks Very Good (VG) but plays close to EX, so that's why I grade VG+.

Labels. Excellent (EX) (just noticeable spindle marks) NO other issues.  Please see photos of all labels.

Inserts: Comes, no worries, this comes cleaned in a new rice-paper type sleeve after cleaning (see below).

Packaging.  I place the vinyl in a new sleeve after cleaning it on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.
