About This Record. This is an original copy of one of the Holiest of the Holy Grails of Psych/Garage LPs by The Flying Carpet entitled "Flying Karpet" from Mexico from 1968 or thereabouts that was released on Son-Art Records! NO RESERVE!  This and Kaleidoscope are two of the most sought-after LPs from Mexico, and these rarely turn up, especially State-Side.  Good Luck and thanks for looking!  Mainly Garage Psych but a couple of RnB numbers; including Track A1 which has a small skip near the beginning . . . but only there . . . . Please see the details below about the cover, vinyl, labels and everything else you might want to know.

PLEASE CHECK my Feedback which will show you my grading, Cover/Vinyl, of other 45rpms and LPs I have recently sold graded VG (or whatever) and what the lucky people who bought them think of them and our experience. The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.

I offer full refund including shipping both ways for USA buyers in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase).  Comes cleaned on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaner and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And at least one plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Cover Condition: Very Good (VG) cover.  The spine is the worst part, there is a lot of flaking that produces a tear in the spine near the middle; yes a small piece is missing and accompanying split near the middle.  And other flaking on the spine.  Other the seams are fine with some wear but no splits; some corner rounding and general age wear, but no writing or tragic stuff other than the spine flaking; overall, pretty nice as these things go. The pretty clean front and rear covers, and solid top and bottom seams (which do have lots of wear) save this from being a G+ cover instead of VG.  Please SEE all my photos; I did not take them for fun and frolic and they could answer any question you have.

Vinyl Condition: Very Good (VG).  Worst part is Track A1 that has a short skip about 9 seconds into the song, and a few pops before that, and after that.  Looks like pressing defect that makes part of Track one look not shiny and feel rough . . . think a pressing defect.  Rest of Side One plays OK VG.  Side Two looks strong VG+ but plays with a little background noise here and there, but no major marks or concerns.  Of course there are no sticks, skips, jumps or anything nasty like that other than on Track A1 as noted above; comes cleaned on my KLA Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine (like I always do).

Labels. Very Good Plus (VG+) / Good Plus (G+) labels with big spindle area tear on one side, and very small tear on the other side. Original textured labels and heavy vinyl.  Please look at my photos in case I missed something.

Inserts: with a plastic sleeve I found with it when I purchased this LP, but no worries, it also comes cleaned in new rice paper-type inner sleeve.

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve from the cover after cleaning, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack in an MLP-1 oversize box with corner protectors, or a regular NICE cardboard box with at least two insert stiffeners, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and/or “Fragile” or something like that to help facilitate a safe passage.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . .  I offer full refund on this record to USA buyers including shipping both ways.  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax!
