Released in Nov. 1963
V Records V-109 (45 RPM 7" single, Canada pressing)
Recorded at radio station CKRC, Winnipeg, 23 July 1963

            A side - The Sultan - in trail-off area: V-109-A

B side - Aurora - in trail-off area:       V-109-B

They appear to be etched. There are no other marking that I can see in the trail-off area.

The sleeve is as acquired with the record.

I think it might be "original" but don't know for certain.

See Rockin’ Records 2009 Edition: Page 965 for information regarding number of copies pressed (200) and reference to Neil Young. (the isleofwrite and thrasherswheat links below says that about (300) copies were pressed – either way, that would make it “pretty rare”)

Besides the links above, much more information is available about this record on the internet. Please also see Jimmy McDonough’s biography of Neil Young, “Shakey”, which discusses the making of this, Neil’s first commercial recording, when he was still in high school in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

This record is pristine. Don’t miss this record!

Payment Terms:

  • Winner will receive an invoice from Paypal after the auction ends.  This will include your total. I do combine shipping as long as you request a combined invoice AND all auctions you win are paid for together – the automated invoice you receive right after the auction ends will not have combined shipping.
  • I accept payment through PayPal only and payment is required within 3 days. Please ask questions before bidding.  All sales are final.  I am not a retailer or business just a retired guy trying to keep busy.

Refunds:

I do not accept returns, nor do I issue refunds unless the item has been grossly misrepresented.
