VIBRAVOID – The Politics Of Ecstasy. Anazitisi Records ARLP 10-52. Greek release. SEALED NEW VINYL RECORD ALBUM. NOTE:  The outer clear PVC sleeve has a (<3") split on the seam; center of pocket opening, right side, as it was received; no damage to the jacket. Originally issued in 2008. This new edition issued in 2015, and pressed on clear vinyl, to celebrate the group’s 15th anniversary. This new edition was first issued earlier this year in a press run of 500 copies (250 on black vinyl and 250 on green vinyl), which sold out in a week. This, then, is the second pressing which had a press run of 1000 copies (250 on clear vinyl, 250 on blue vinyl, 250 on purple/violet vinyl, & 250 on fuchsia vinyl; both the purple and fuchsia versions look red/pink and unless you see them side by side will be difficult to distinguish). All packaging and artwork for both pressings are identical (except the color of the vinyl) which includes a fully laminated gatefold cover, 4-page insert, 180g vinyl pressing, re-mixed and remastered sound, and one bonus track, Late As A Morning which is the original first recording of a charming piece of relaxed psychedelia that was first released in a different version on the flip of the Doris Delay 7" EP in 2004. The whole package comes housed in a clear PVC protective outersleeve with flap which is sealed with a clear printed Anazitisi Records sticker. So, you say, how does this differ from the original 2008 edition? This anniversary edition features new/revised cover artwork and re-mastered audio tracks which have been partly re-recorded and fully re-mixed for maximum audio pleasure and you get a bonus track. Now that you’ve completely digested all that, let us proceed. TRACKS:  The Politics Of Ecstasy, Doris Delay, Incense And Peppermints, Playing With Beuys, Oscillations, Audio Revolution Vol. 1, Late As A Morning (bonus track), and Your Mind Is At Ease. DESCRIPTION:  German act Vibravoid was formed in 2000, with a central core consisting of Christian Koch (vocals, guitar), Robert Braune (drums), and M. Lammert (bass). Their musical output blends influences from early Pink Floyd, Strawberry Alarm Clock, The Electric Prunes, and Spacemen 3 into a heavy variety of psychedelic progressive rock. Taking the psychedelic experience to the core, the Vibravoid set controls to the mind and soul of Dr.Timothy Leary. The Politics Of Ecstasy as a name clearly comes from the writings of the man who started those acid crazed days, but more or less proves to be the Vibravoid's very own Legend Of A Mind: Timothy. Leary is not dead, he is just outside looking in! The Politics Of Ecstasy presents the group on a stunning trip through the acid drenched time when pop music was more than just a short mini skirt and big boobs! From the mind carving title track to the masterpieces of timeless music like Incense And Peppermints the album hosts a lot of original compositions. Hailing from Dusseldorf, the band explores both the experimental and irresistible pop tunes of their musical heritage and forefathers to full effect. Doris Delay and the homage to one of the greatest artists of their hometown, Playing With Beuys, display an ability of producing the finest psychedelic music from Germany of the last several decades. Apart from that, the group stretches out to the depths of the inner mind to finally fill a whole side with the epic Your Mind Is At Ease that easily will take the listener to a new dimension with an assault of the most far out effects and sounds ever produced! In addition to the original album this Deluxe Remastered Edition contains one of the great lost tracks:  Late As A Morning - originally released as the B-side of the Doris Delay 7" EP; this previously unissued recording presents the original full length version for the first time. The Politics Of Ecstasy was first released in August 2008 on highly collectable glow in the dark and black vinyl and remains one of the most sought after and high priced releases of the group's discography.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers.

NON-ARRIVAL OF PACKAGES:

It has been several years since I’ve had a package not make its US destination, so risk is minimal.

I do my best to quickly post packages, but once the package is in the hands of the world’s postal system it is beyond my control. With First-Class Package International Service my only option for investigating the loss of your package is to verify that it left this country to its destination country. Most all delayed/lost packages have disappeared/been delayed after they have reached their destination country. NOTE:  Based on recent buyer feedback, International packages have been moving much slower these days; it is not unusual for a package to take over three weeks for delivery, though normally packages should arrive in 7 to 15 business days.
