Description
This auction is for impossible to find "The Sleeping Man" 7" from the amazing Vic Chesnutt. I bought this from Vic himself after a "West of Rome" show in SC. I only played it once to put it on a Mini-Disc and it has been sleeved/stored with my other records since. It is listed as being on the "Texas Hotel" label but I never saw it as available through the label. Until the reissues of the "Texas Hotel" cds these songs were only available on this single. I have not been able to find any solid information about the number of copies that were made but this is the only one that I have ever seen. Michael Stipe of R.E.M. produced (?) the first two Vic cds but is NOT listed as the producer on this single. Condition is as Near Mint
This is an extremely RARE piece of vinyl history and "Bad Boy Town" is a fantastic song (you can sample @ numerous sites selling the reissue cds). I don't normally ship Internationally but I will make an exception for this auction. International in this case is Canada, Europe, Australia & New Zealand and shipping to these countries will be determined at the end of the auction (actual cost plus $1).
