Description
VILLAGE man in the moon/long time coming. Original UK 7-inch single, released in 1969 on the HEAD record label, catalogue number HDS 4002.
Record labels are in VERY GOOD+ condition, clean original appearance with no faults (some slight minor label surface wear is evident owing to age and handling), spindle hole marks show light to moderate playing on both sides. Record playing surfaces are VERY GOOD in appearance, and still retain there original bright sheen, some surface marks are visible, consisting of some ultra light fine line/hairlines (difficult to see) and some small/medium/large surface scuff types. Surface marks are not excessive and are lightly scattered, there is nothing heavy and nothing that you can feel. The B-side has a small edge chip/mark at 11 o’clock (only visible from the B-side), which goes from the outer record’s edge to just before the intro run in groove, before the music starts. You can still place the needle right at the very start of the run in groove, and it will only produces a low level click but does not jump.
Both sides play grade VERY GOOD+ and the sound displays no loud crackles, no loud clicks and no jumps (some light crackles and clicks are evident on the run in grooves and there is some low level background crackles and clicks in occasional places when played, however these are not consistent throughout).
Overall not in the best of condition, but still provides a VERY GOOD+ listener!
